How awesome is pop....

So this morning I sent Johnny to bring Julia to school so I could get a well needed shower while Anna napped. I was very refreshed sitting at the lap top trying to cancel the house phone and Erin called and said she had a mouse in the house. It was under the stove and she could hear it eating (GROSS.) So I go to call Johnny to get him to go over there on his way home form school and his phone rings in the bed room. Well, luckily Pop came pulling in..so I go on the porch and call over to pop and here comes Benji with a DEAD KITTEN in his mouth (GROSS.) I guess him and buddy found some kittens and had there way. Well Pop and I went looking for the rest but couldn't find them we did find Momma cat up a tree in the woods. We had no idea there were kittens anywhere. So with this poor pop just came down to feed the dogs and Erin and I need his rescue. Well he buried the kitten. I called Erin to see if she still needed someone (duh it's a mouse) so Pop when over there. Poor pop don't know if he is home yet but I know am thankful for him all the time. love ya pop...

Bananas

So I found these Dole Cookbooks I got when I was teaching. I had three extra I gave the girls each their own. Saturday morning Julia wanted to make an apple thing with an apple, peanut butter, raisins and cinnamon sugar for breakfast so we did. They really liked them, very healthy I was glad. Well, Ella gets to looking at hers and saw the following recipe.

She comes over to me very serious and says "mom we can't make this because every time we go to the store I asked you for bananas and you say, " we don't need bananas." "Well now we do and we don't have any." I guess I will be getting bananas this week to make this shake for her. She is so funny and very a matter of fact....

Halloween 2009

We went to church to trunk-or treat. The kids had a great time. I just don't understand how I came home with more candy then I gave out crazy. Most of this candy will be going to work with Johnny on Monday...Over all it was a great night, except for the 80 degrees weather we had in October what is up with that?

Kindergarten

So Julia started Kindergarten this year. She is doing so well. She loves to learn and is very smart. School has changed her she turning into a little girl no more baby, very sad. She is growing up so fast it is scary. I have posted her Kindergarten picture and my Kindergarten picture it is crazy how much she looks like me when I was her age.

So..I have been told by many people family and friends I need to update my blog..Well I am posting that I am working on it. I have to up load pictures of Anna our new addition and Julia's Kindergarten pictures. I will do my best to get it done this week. Now that all the girls (Molly, Katie and Emily) are not in Jacksonville anymore I guess I have no choice to do the blog thing I will get better PROMISE!! Thanks for all your patience.....
