My Husband the HERO, no not the sandwich :)
Well we live on a huge farm. So stray dogs come and go all the time. Actually, sometimes they come and never go and sometimes they just pass by. Well, We have now two strays Buddy and Friendly. Well we had Friendly until a few days ago he found a group of hunting dogs next door and decided to start running with them. Anyway, Friendly left and another one showed up the same day. This dog had a flea collar, was fixed and very clean. Come to find out he belonged to the rest home down the road. So Saturday Morning Johnny dropped off the dog to the rest home and the people were so excited to see the dog back. He was an outside dog at the rest home. There was an old man who loved the dog so much he stopped taking his medication because the dog was gone. John said when he showed up it was like Christmas day everyone was so excited. Good job Johnny! He helped a dog get back home and helped put a smile on an old mans face. MY HERO!!

Haloween
Well Halloween was a lot of fun. My niece Gabby was a snail, although when she got crabby and we took her shell off she became a slug:) Julia and Ella were both ballerina's. I paid over $70.00 a piece for Julia to dance in two recitals with those dresses I was getting my monies worth. My nephew Jason was knight. His mom Erin, made his costume and it looked fantastic better than anything you could have bought. Finally, my other niece Emma was Hannah Montana she had a crazy wig that had purple lights in it. The kids were all very cute.

So now another holiday has come and gone and were now awaiting Thanksgiving. We will be making our annual trip to Virginia for that holiday. John's grandma Kokinda and all his aunts and uncle live there so we make our once a year appearance. It's usually a lot of fun.
Fall has finally arrived in NC so we are officially in jeans and a sweatshirts now and maybe a jacket on a good day. This year thought I have noticed a change in the leaves more then in the past. One thing I miss about NY is the Fall, it was always my favorite time of year.
My dad is coming for Christmas were excited about that. I know the girls are looking forward to seeing him, as are John and I. Well, I guess that is all for now.
